Individually made by DiamondCast using Alumilite acrylic resin and a combination of custom mica powders and liquid dyes, these pen blanks not only contain real diamond particles as their original DiamondCast pen blanks do, but the sparkle is further enhanced by the addition of real silver particles and crucially, special holographic polymers, for an absolutely outstanding brilliance and depth in the finished pen, toghether wih an unrivalled shimmer and sparkle.
The turning and finishing process is no different to any other acrylic pen blank, and there is no discernable difference in tool edge wear. Importantly though, they are translucent, so back painting the inside of the drilled blank is essential when used on a kit pen if you don't want the tubes to show through.
Available in either 150mm or 235mm lengths, these blanks are superb for threading and are suitable for both kit pens and custom pens, (or so called kitless pens).
