Transfer punches are ideal for disassembling pens. Choose the size that best fits inside the pen barrel or pen cap, so that it engages on the part you want to remove, then use a hammer on the end of the punch to knock out the component.
This transfer punch set comprises 28 pieces, from 3/32" - 17/32" (2.4-13.4mm). Each punch is 125mm long, and the set comes complete with a storage base. For ease of reference, each hole in the base is marked with the size of the punch.
Make sure you have a secure hold on the pen before you start hitting with a hammer - our soft-jaw locking grips are ideal for the purpose, or they can be used to supplement the knockout rods supplied with our pen assembly/dis-assembly press, to make it even more versatile.
