Versachuck engineering jaws. Internal & external for Versachuck (8 piece)
This package of eight (8) stepped engineering jaws enables the Versachuck to be used exactly as a four-jaw self-centring engineering chuck.
Comprising two sets of jaws, four internally stepped and four externally stepped, and closing down close to zero in compression mode, our Versachuck engineering jaws have integral jaw carriers, so extra ones are not required, and are mounted in the chuck after removing the 'normal' jaw carriers.
NB. These jaws should not be used for bowl turning. There are myriad jobs on the lathe that are made easier and made safer with engineering jaws, but bowl work is not one of them.
Suitable for use only with the Versachuck - not compatible with Axminster or similar chucks.
Separate jaw carriers (jaw slides) are not required for this product
