Versachuck pen blank jaws.
Designed to be used with the Versachuck when mounted on the corresponding Versachuck jaws carriers (available separately).
These jaws are specially designed hold square or a round pen blanks securely on the lathe to allow for drilling, trimming etc.
Square blanks are not always truely square, and round blanks are often too narrow to fit securely into traditional dovetail jaws. These pen blank jaws comprise 2 jaws only, and feature a recess to allow the blank to be held diagonally across them. They will comfortably hold blanks up to about 30mm wide or more
Irrespective of the chuck position marked on each jaw, they can be mounted on the lathe in either positions 1 & 3 or 2 & 4 - it doesn't matter as long as they are opposite each other.
These jaws will also fit Axminster chucks.
