Versachuck backplate - 1 1/4 inchx 8 tpi (NOT for UK Nova lathes)

Backplate to fit Versachuck wood lathe chuck.

Threaded to suit 1¹/₄" x 8tpi lathe spindle, but importantly, where the overall length of the spindle from the rear register to the end of the spindle is 1¹/₄ inches.

Lathes using this thread include Nova lathes made for the US market (but NOT for UK models), General 260, Woodfast, Vicmarc and larger Grizzly floor standing models. It also fits the Record Maxi, which has a spindle length of just under 1¹/₄ inches.

This Versachuck backplate also fits other chucks that use the ISO standard Pratt Burnerd 4" system, including the Axminster Precision chuck and the Axmister Super Precision chuck, as well as many engineering chucks.
