A classic native British wood which turns easily and finishes to a high shine. Boxwood is extremely slow growing and is reckoned to be the hardest of all native woods. It is though an absolute joy to turn, and whether you use it for segmenting or to make a complete pen, it's beautiful cream colour contrasting with its grey figuring will make a striking pen and the finish will be difficult to equal.
