High quality nibs and pens deserve high quality taps - no far eastern cheap imports here, our taps are made specially for us from M2 HSS steel by either TapCo or Volkel, both globally acclaimed precision thread cutting specialists. They are available individually - starter, intermediate and plug (bottoming) or as a money saving set of three.
We have thread taps to facilitate the internal threading of fountain pen sections for custom pens or so called kitless pen, to suit all sizes of Bock nib housings . Experienced pen makers will appreciate the quality and precision of our taps, and understand the value and function of all three types.
